Connected Amazon accounts (Selling Partner API)

What is accessed

  • An OAuth refresh token authorizing API access

Access is limited to the non-restricted “Product Listing” role only. We do not access order, customer, financial, or other personally identifiable information from your Amazon account.

How it’s used

Amazon information is used solely to display product listing eligibility within the Optavex app. We do not use Amazon information for advertising or marketing, and we do not sell it or share it with our analytics or advertising partners.

Storage and security

Amazon information is processed and stored in Amazon Web Services (US East region). Refresh tokens are encrypted at rest, all data is transmitted over TLS, and access is restricted on a least-privilege basis.

Retention and deletion

Amazon information is retained while your account remains connected. You can disconnect at any time via Account → Connections in the Optavex app, which revokes our access and deletes the stored tokens. Associated restriction data is deleted or anonymized upon disconnection or on request.

Security incidents

We report any security incident involving Amazon information to Amazon within 24 hours of detection.
